Scope and Content

The collection consists larely of material used by D.M. Harvey in her book, Our Topsham Tapestry, a genealogical and historical account of major founding families of Topsham, Vermont. These families are: the Bills, Harveys, Hights and Nelsons. A copy of the book is found in folder one and within it the miscellaneous materials of the collection are brought together. Included in the collection are numerous photographs (some not used in the book), clippings, correspondence, and notes of family members. Of particular interest is a very well preserved photograph of the Bill sisters (ca.1860) found in folder twenty.
