Allen Family Papers
Correspondence, deeds, land surveys, legal records, bills, receipts, and military and other papers, relating to political affairs in Vermont, military affairs in Vermont, Canada, France, New York, and Pennsylvania, Allen’s land dealings, American Revolution, Haldimand negotiations (1780-83), Directory of the French Republic (1795-99), Napoleon Bonaparte, Allen’s trip to France for arms for Vermont in the 1790’s, and his imprisonment in England.
Cummings Family Papers
The Cummings Papers contain a large selection of family letters (1823-1946), family deeds (1795-1906) from Dunstable Massachusetts, Norwich and Thetford Vermont, family photogrphs (ca. 1850-1944), genealogical data, and two volumes of Cummings family and North Thetford history, compiled by Elizabeth Cummings.
Emporium Lumber Company Records
Correspondence between the company office in Danby, Vt., New York headquarters at Conifer, and general headquarters in Pennsylvania; deeds relating chiefly to the Griffith lands in Bennington and Rutland Counties, Vt.; survey reports and maps relating to specific land parcels in Danby, Mount Tabor, Peru, Stratton, and Sunderland, Vt.; and material (1928-1967) relating to purchase of the company’s Vermont lands by the U.S. Forest Service for the Green Mountain National Park.
Georgia Congregational Church Collection
The Georgia Vermont Congregational Church Papers, 1803-1940, contain correspondence, letters of admonition and excommunication, subscription and membership lists, minutes of meetings, deeds, and other documents relating to the church.
James Wilson Papers
Collection contains correspondence, deeds, marriage certificates, genealogies, clippings, and photographs documenting the activities of the family of James Wilson, the first globe maker in America.
Perley Family Papers
The Perley Family Papers consist of deeds to land owned in Northern Vermont as well as correspondence and financial records in the form of receipts belonging to Anson Perley. Records pertaining Anson Perley's Estate and Legal documents are also present.
