Arthur C. Wells Papers
Arthur C. Wells was a farmer in Cambridge, Vermont and city official of Bakersfield, Vermont. Collection includes chiefly family correspondence, together with accounts books, receipts and minutes of meetings (1860-1870) of the Society of Masons, Barnes lodge, Eagle Lodge dues book (1880-1897), statistical record (1905-1817) relating to the Vermont Sunday School Association, and photos.
Collamer Family Papers
The Collamer Family Papers consist of three cartons of letters, business papers, legal notes and dockets, account books, speeches and orations, and other manuscripts. Although the collection includes material from the early 1800s to the 1910s, the majority of the Papers fall in date between 1840 and 1865.
Essex Community Players Collection
The collection consists of business records, chiefly bills, invoices, and receipts, although some correspondence, programs, a ledger, and membership lists are included.
First Unitarian Church Records
The collection consists of three cartons containing documents which range from April 17, 1810 to January 1981.
Goodridge Soapstone Quarry Records
The collection is made up of correspondence between Sophia Goodridge, owner of the quarry, and Sidney Holmes, her financial advisor, in the years 1874-1896. The letters are primarily concerned with the financial aspects of leasing the quarry, its annual production and future prospects, and Miss Goodridge's desire to sell it.
Lanpher and Demeritt Families Papers
The collection contains Civil War letters, family correspondence, photographs, photograph albums, diaries, notes, school work, memorial cards, clippings, and financial documents (pension claims) documenting George M. Lanpher and Rufus G. Lanpher who both served in the Civil War. Activities of other members and later generations of the related families of Lanpher and Demeritt are also documented.
Onion Family Papers
The Onion Family Papers contains correspondence, business and financial documents, photographs, railroad correspondence and memorabilia, personal ephemera, and miscellaneous material relating to Carlos and Mary Onion of Rutland, Vermont for the period 1860-1870.
Queen City Park Association Records
The Queen City Park Association was formed in 1881 with the stated purpose of maintaining a private park at Burlington to be used for spiritualist camp meetings, picnic parties, and as a summer resort.
Springfield Ice Company Records
The collection contains records of the Springfield Ice Company owned and operated by Clare John Parker, including employee pay, customer accounts, expenses, accounts with suppliers, as well as records documenting the Ice Industry, the Concrete Industry, the National Recovery Administration (NRA), the War Food Administration, and the New England Ice Dealers Association.
